John J. Condon Sr. is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York and is the President of Condon Engineering, P.C.
Mr. Condon established the firm in October 2001 and has used his vast knowledge of building structures, ranging from colonial era to modern homes and buildings, to provide more than 2,500 pre-purchased residential and commercial building inspections in the Long Island community. Mr. Condon’s services also include structural and electro-mechanical design, drainage and sanitary septic design, forensic engineering, and consultation services.
For 7 years prior to October 2001, Mr. Condon was a principal of the firm Cronin and Condon Consulting Engineers, LLP. Mr. Condon’s other prior employment included engineering and management positions with NYNEX, New York Telephone, and Bell Telephone Laboratories.
Mr. Condon holds a Bachelors Degree of Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York. He has been a licensed professional engineer since 1975 and is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE) and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).

John J. Condon is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York and is the Vice President of Condon Engineering, P.C.
Since joining the firm in April 2006, Mr. Condon has been providing structural design services for both residential and commercial structures as well as providing site engineering for commercial and residential projects including grading, drainage and septic system designs. Mr. Condon is also a certified HERS Rater for the Energy Star Homes Program.
For 8 years prior to April 2006, Mr. Condon was a staff engineer and project engineer for two large civil engineering firms in Mineola and Hauppauge, N.Y. During that time, Mr. Condon was involved in numerous residential and commercial site engineering projects in the various towns and villages in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Mr. Condon’s site engineering experience includes condominium projects ranging from 24 units to 1,300+ units, several assisted living facilities, as well as many municipal projects, multi-acre commercial and industrial developments, and residential and industrial subdivisions.
Mr. Condon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Roger Williams University, Bristol R.I. He has been a licensed professional engineer since 2004 and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
